Harry Styles, the 32 year old, world famous pop star, has been in the music industry for over 15 years. He rose to fame at just 16 years old, when he joined the highly successful boy band, One Direction. After leaving the group, Styles set out and started a solo career, releasing four studio albums, including his newest, “Kiss all the Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
Styles released, “Harry’s House,” in the summer of 2022, and it immediately topped the charts. Landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the US, Germany, Australia, Canada, and many other countries. This album, “Harry’s House,” also won a Grammy for Album of the year in 2023. Styles also performed his “Love on Tour,” for nearly two years.
After the high and popularity of this album, fans expected Styles to continue releasing music and be present in the media, but it was actually quite the opposite. Styles decided to take a three year break, which was definitely well earned. A mental rest was necessary, and Styles wanted to prioritize his personal life, travel with family and friends and celebrate turning 30.
When Styles made an appearance in the media again, he appeared to be an entirely different person.
“I feel so much healthier in my relationship with this world that I’m stepping back into” Styles said when interviewed about his personal life by Sunday Times.
When listening to his newest album it is easy to tell the difference. “Kiss all the time. Disco, Occasionally,” is true to its name. Continuing the pop album sound, there are a couple songs on the album that contain electronics, loud drums and a “disco” feeling.
After listening to the new album, released on March 6, 2026, I was overall very pleased with it. As I shared above,“Kiss all the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” is different from the others. To be honest, it is not my favorite album Styles has released, but it still provides a fun, upbeat listening experience.
There were a few songs that stood out to me: “Are You Listening Yet?” “Paint By Numbers” and “American Girls.” These are three completely different songs, yet they all display a special aspect that caught my attention; whether it be the lyrics, the beat, or the overall ambiance of the song.
Overall, I would rate Harry Styles newest album, “Kiss all the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” an 8/10. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I had to listen to the album after reading this. I think my favorite is the first one, “Aperture”. It’s a little different than his other stuff, as to be expected, but it’s still quite the listening experience!

You did a good job explaining Harry Styles’ career and sharing your opinion on the album. I like that you mentioned specific songs. I also grew up with 1 direction and my older sister was inlove with him for the longest time
