High school life is one that is oftentimes difficult to balance. Many students have to juggle sports, friends, and outside activities, on top of all their school work and classes. This is often overwhelming and a challenge for most, but sophomore Olivia Ellsworth is doing a great job of juggling her busy schedule.
Ellsworth works hard in school and is participating in many honors/advanced classes, such as honors english, comm 10, and science, she is also an entire year ahead of her peers in math. Ellsworth works hard in her classes and is in the top 35% of the FHS graduating class of 2028. On top of regular classes, Ellsworth is a member of FCA(Fellowship of Christian Athletes) while also participating in choir..
For many highschoolers, including Ellsworth, sports are a huge part of daily life. In order to be successful, athletes show up almost entirely year round. Ellsworth runs hurdles in track, as well as playing basketball and volleyball for the FHS Tigers. On top of playing volleyball for the school, Ellsworth also participates in club volleyball too. All of these sports keep her busy as they spread out throughout the different seasons.
After high school, Ellsworth plans to follow in her sister, Jenna Ellsworth’s, footsteps and go into the medical field. She is not sure exactly what job she plans on doing yet, but she knows it will be something to do with human health services.
Outside of school, Ellsworth has a job and works during the summer and on weekends during her free time. She is also a member of Fremont’s First United Methodist Church, and attends the youth group every Wednesday.
Overall, Olivia Ellsworth is a smart and determined student at FHS High School. Her hard work and good nature lead her to become a shining example for her peers and those around her. With the rest of her high school career ahead of her, Ellsworth is already headed in the right direction.
