After recently going from blue to pink, junior Bralen Cullum shares that pink might be his favorite style he has done. His love for hair dye stems from the confidence it brings, as well as the bond he shares with his friend. “I like dyeing my hair because I feel like it allows for a lot more self-expression, and the process of dying it is a really nice bonding experience between me and my friend who does it for me. It also gets me a lot of attention and compliments, which gives a really nice self-esteem/ego boost,” Cullum said.

About the Contributors
Kilee Holcomb, Staff Writer & Photographer
Kilee Holcomb is a sophomore, and this is her first year on the Tiger’s Eye staff. She spends her time participating in band, pursuing her love for photography, reading, writing, and playing with her 3-legged dog named Peaches (honorable mention to her Aussiedoodle Baloo). A fun fact about her band career is that she’s been in band for 5 years and marching band for 4. You could say that when people wear the same color of shirts and pants at once it gets on her nerves. She believes it would benefit the school if students would be more engaged in their classes and talk more.
Lexi Gutierrez, Staff Writer
Born in Omaha and raised in Fremont, Lexi Gutierrez is a junior. This is her first year as a member of the Tiger’s Eye staff. When Gutierrez isn’t in school or working as a crewmember at Runza, she likes to spend her free time listening to music or hanging out with her friends. She enjoys doing hair in theater during the school year and being a member of the theater department. She has plans to pursue a future in the healthcare field and hopes to help change lives.
