Coach Cody Gallatin tells his athletes to not let the pressure get to them. “I tell my team that nothing comes easy and if they want to win they have to get comfortable doing hard things,” Galllain said. “We work on game speed reps in everything so that it will hopefully translate to the games. My hope is that if they are in top shape, it will help them to have the ability to compete at the highest level. The great Pat Riley said ‘Conditioning is toughness and toughness is conditioning!’ I believe that and preach that to our team.”
Sophomore Lily Wibbels looks up to the hoop during basketball practice. This will be Wibbels first year playing on varsity. "I'm really just hustling during practice and trying to get in the best shape to play my best during the game,” Wibbels said. “ My teammates have the best energy and mindsets; they encourage me; they push me to work harder in general; they are just great teammates and just people you want to be around; they also hype you up when you need it; most always leave it to Jenna McClain to scream with you after a great shot.”
