With horrible acting and overall horrible directing, The Legend of La Llorona is a movie that did not catch my attention whatsoever.

The Legend of Llorona was released in theaters on Jan. 7 and became available for streaming on Jan. 11.

The movie starts off with a family that travels to Mexico to get away from their home for a while after losing a child.

Then unexpectedly their son Danny, gets taken by La Llorona, a ghost, in which they then go on a manhunt to find him. They end up finding him, but La Llorona still needs to steal a child because her daughter was taken from her, so she takes Danny again.

Because of this, they are forced to go to an island, Isla de la Muñecas (The Island of the Dolls), to try and get Danny back by digging up the grave of her family member.

The movie was poorly made and looked rushed.

Additionally, I thought it got confusing at some parts because it would just cut to different parts that didn’t relate to the scene.

Even though this is supposed to be a horror movie, it was more comedic because of how horrible the acting and scenes were.

Overall, I would rate this movie a one out of five because it was bad and not enjoyable. I would not recommend this movie, unless you feel like laughing at it.
