Do we really know artificial intelligence limits, advantages, and capabilities? AI is an internationally controversial term for millions of people.
Nowadays, we have reached the point where we use AI unconsciously. There is a little bit of it everywhere, from writing a message to driving a modern car.
“I think that artificial intelligence in future years will be able to supplement people in simple tasks as basic as cleaning, cooking, or even thinking.” Junior Heidi Corona said
Although AI has not yet to be seen as essential, some people are still worried about the possibility of it becoming so.
Changes are scary, but they are part of human nature. The problem is not that artificial intelligence changes the world, but that the frequently asked question is, “Would it change it for the better or worse?”
“I personally love artificial intelligence; it is an incredible tool if used properly,” said Shea Ahrens, Professor at Fremont High School. It can become a problem in the unlikely event that it becomes a dependency rather than a tool to make everyday life more comfortable, in which case I would consider it a problem.
Science has not been able to deny the probability that AI will get to a point in which it surpasses human capabilities and makes us less efficient.
“The ultimate objective of AI is to ensure that a machine has general intelligence similar to that of a human; it is one of the most ambitious objectives that science has set itself,” according to researchers at open mind
Science does not seek to make artificial intelligence replace humans but rather to simplify our daily lives.
In reality, if used in an appropriate way, AI has more benefits than disadvantages, but I believe that there are people who have the ability to create a limit between using it as a tool instead of a dependency for your stability.
To advance as a society, we need to create rules that limit and give the ability to use a powerful tool like AI to people who know how to master it correctly for the appropriate purposes.
