Darlene Alvarez is a sophomore staffwriter, this is her first year on staff.  She is in the band and plays the flute, but is curious about trying other instruments. In her off time as a self-proclaimed bed rotter, she enjoys waking through the sunset and dog-sitting for her neighbor. She likes to snap photos of the flowers she finds along her way as well.
