Students face challenges every day in the typical school day. Whether it includes waking up early, not receiving recognition for doing what’s expected of them, trying to traverse crowded hallways, or not being able to simply be yourself. These reasons make it hard for students to want to come to school. But sometimes, students find a class or a classroom where they feel valued and encouraged in their learning. This photo essay explores these places for students.
