Mr. Stevens (“Steve”) is the journalism teacher and adviser at FHS, now entering his thirteenth year of teaching. While advising journalism can be stressful (and perhaps responsible for a few gray hairs), he enjoys it because he believes students should always have the freedom to express themselves.

When he isn’t plotting world domination with his two cats, Miyu and Watts, Steve can be found reading across a variety of genres, playing everything from cozy to survival to strategy video games, tending to his indoor jungle of plants, or causing chaos in Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. One day, he might even get around to finishing his doctorate homework—unless, of course, a nap wins out first.
