Mason Fein-Pedersen is a 16-year-old junior at Fremont High School, and this is his third year on The Tiger’s Eye staff. Some of Mason’s hobbies include participating in the school’s color guard and baking. He first got involved in journalism in middle school and decided to continue in high school.

A movie that holds special meaning for Mason is Coraline, which he grew up watching and now considers one of his comfort films. His favorite animal is the dog because he believes dogs share qualities similar to humans. Mason has a dog named Monty and a cat named Mocha. His favorite color is purple, and his favorite meal is steak with mashed potatoes.

One fact many people don’t know about Mason is that he used to live in Iowa. After graduating from high school, he plans to pursue a career in therapy.
